De La Hoya stated, “My boxing experience has been a great preparation for ‘The Masked Singer.’ Performing on stage or stepping into the ring, with crowds of thousands or audiences at home, is similar to being on ‘The Masked Singer‘ stage. Before going on, I often feel butterflies in my stomach, much like before entering the ring. I would always remind myself to laugh, smile, and enjoy myself.
