Where to Find the Old Thieves Hideout in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To locate the ancient hideout of the thieves, head to the basement of a residence situated right across from the city fountain in Kuttenberg. However, it might prove tricky and perplexing to find this spot. To make your search effortless, obtain the “Cellar Door Key”. In its absence, you’d need a lockpick to open the cellar door, which can be challenging.

Get the Cellar Door Key

During your adventure, the cellar key can be discovered in Hynek’s House, which is the starting point of your quest. If you fail to obtain it initially, simply return to Hynek’s House and enter the room on the right. Subsequently, open the door on the left, where you’ll find a chest. Use a lockpick to access the chest and retrieve the Cellar Key.

Finding the Old Thieves’ Hideout

Now, if you’ve read Hynek’s Letter and understand the riddle, proceed to Kuttenberg city where you’ll find a fountain. Wait there until noon. Once it’s 12 PM, take a look at the ground while standing next to the fountain. That’s when the fountain will indicate the direction towards the house with the red flag.

First, proceed inside the house by opening the main entrance. Next, locate the door near the staircase and open it. This particular door leads down to the basement. Upon entering the basement, veer left and you’ll spot a cellar door. To unlock this cellar door, use the key specifically designated for it. Inside, you will discover the Old Thieves’ Hideout.

Following that, the task at hand becomes straightforward. Open the secret stash to retrieve the “Sketchbook with Illustrations”. Afterward, bring it back to either Chenyek or Knuckles to wrap up the mission.
