Controversial Streamer Sliker Returns to Twitch After 2-Year Gambling Scandal Ban

After over two years, Sliker is now allowed back on Twitch, having previously been banned due to allegations that he swindled friends and followers to support his compulsive gambling habit.

In September 2022, Twitch broadcaster Sliker faced a barrage of claims that he had deceptively taken large sums of money from his audience and fellow broadcasters, allegedly totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars.

In response to the escalating predicament, prominent streamers such as Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel and Ludwig Ahgren personally contributed their earnings, asking Twitch to intervene against Sliker due to his questionable dealings.

Originally, the platform suspended Sliker’s partnership, eventually leading to a complete ban in January 2023. Over a year later, Sliker returned to streaming on Kick following a period of contemplation and issuing a heartfelt apology to those he impacted.

Sliker celebrates being unbanned on Twitch

On February 19, 2025, Sliker’s Twitch account finally got lifted its ban, which had been in place for more than two years following his initial suspension from the platform.

Before his ban was enforced, Sliker submitted an appeal, which he displayed during a live stream on Kick with a companion. He emphasized that the appeal status was ‘under review.’

Currently, his channel can be accessed openly, with approximately 450,000 subscribers.

Yet, he hasn’t started streaming live on that particular channel as of now, but rather chose to commemorate his reinstatement by hosting a Kick broadcast, during which he examined the Twitch content of other streamers.

Through a since-removed post on Twitter, Sliker hinted at his return to Twitch, indicating that he would start streaming live on Friday, the 21st of February.

When asked about his return to Kick after being unbanned, he declared, ‘I’m live right now!’ He further emphasized his significance by saying, ‘400K followers is nothing special.’ After streaming for two hours on Twitch, he promised a quick transition to Kick.

Earlier, Slicker shared his personal battle with gambling in a chat with streamer BeckaTV. He candidly disclosed the extent of his addiction and expressed his desire to make amends for his past mistakes.

Lately, the streamer refuted accusations claiming he swindled fans out of CS2 knives. He countered these claims by stating that the individual accusing him was a “bully” or “harasser”.

On the very same day that Twitch revealed major modifications to its ban policies, Sliker’s unban occurred, notifying streamers who had been indefinitely suspended for more than half a year that they could submit an appeal to reinstate their account.
