Starbucks has resumed offering free refills to customers eating in the café, following a brief suspension. Let me walk you through the process.
Starting from January 27th, Starbucks has brought back the option for customers to receive complimentary refills. The duration of this offer is currently unclear, but for the time being, enthusiasts of Starbucks can enjoy a single free refill at participating outlets in both the United States and Canada.
The complimentary deal applies exclusively to customers who choose to dine-in at Starbucks and opt for their purchases “to go.” Although a customer might first order a special drink such as a latte or frappuccino, only hot and cold coffee and tea beverages are included in the free offer.
Some beverages, such as Cold Brew, Nitro Cold Brew, Iced Tea Lemonade, flavored Iced Teas, and Starbucks Refreshers, aren’t eligible for a free refill.
At our store, customers who want a free refill can receive their additional drink in a Starbucks-supplied coffee mug or glass. Alternatively, customers are welcome to bring their own clean cup from home.

Starbucks reintroduces condiment bars in stores
Starbucks has reintroduced the self-serve condiment station for its in-store patrons, allowing them to customize their drinks by adding creamer, milk, or sweeteners as desired. If a customer’s favorite additive is not visible, they are encouraged to ask a barista for assistance.
In November 2024, Starbucks implemented a significant adjustment by no longer imposing an additional fee on beverages made with non-dairy alternatives such as almond milk, oat milk, and others.
The coffee house now enforces a “Code of Conduct for Coffeehouses.” To maintain an inviting atmosphere, they kindly request that patrons adhere to specific guidelines so they can continue to savor the pleasure of dining at their cafe.
The regulations state that you must not misbehave, disrupt our areas, discriminate against others, be violent, use abusive or threatening words, drink alcohol outside the designated areas, smoke, vape, or use drugs, and ask for money.
