Activision stays silent, but another celebrity confirms Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+. „They got a new one they remastering, so that’s about to come out”

Based on hints we’ve been picking up, it seems a new remaster from the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series might be announced soon. Interestingly, professional skater Tyshawn Jones has suggested he will feature in the upcoming revamped edition of the game, with Activision yet to confirm this news.

During the conversation on The Breakfast Club podcast (about 22 minutes in), Jones admitted:

“I was part of the previous Tony Hawk game, and now I see they are releasing a remastered version of another one. That’s pretty cool!”

In his recent remarks, Jones implied that by “the last one,” he was referring to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, which was released in 2020 and received widespread acclaim. This suggests the possibility of remasters for THPS 3 and 4 being developed. While Activision has yet to confirm a new project, there have been persistent rumors about it for quite some time.

In 2022, Tony Hawk announced plans for remastering Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 & 4, but this project was terminated when Vicarious Visions studio was taken over by Blizzard Entertainment. However, in 2024, the renowned skater hinted on his Instagram that there is indeed a future for the series, although he advised against speculating about it.

It’s also noteworthy to mention a section from an interview with Tony Hawk, held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series. In this exchange, Tony himself disclosed that he and Activision are currently engaged in a project.

We can only wait for a move from Activision, as there seems to be something going on.
