HBO Limited Series ‘DTF St. Louis’ Casts ‘Abbott Elementary’ Star Chris Perfetti, ‘Wednesday’ Star Joy Sunday

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve learned the exciting news about the forthcoming HBO limited series “DTF St. Louis”. It appears that Chris Perfetti and Joy Sunday have joined the cast!

Perfetti and Sunday have been added to the roster of actors who were previously announced, including Jason Bateman, David Harbour, Linda Cardellini, and Richard Jenkins. In November, the show was picked up by HBO for seven episodes, and it’s now in the preparation stage before filming begins.

The show is described as follows: “This drama explores a complex love triangle among three mature individuals grappling with midlife ennui, culminating in the demise of one character.

In the upcoming production, Perfetti is set to portray Tiger Tiger, and Sunday has been cast as Jodie. More specifics about the characters are currently being withheld.

At present, Perfetti is playing the character Jacob Hill in the popular ABC mockumentary series “Abbott Elementary.” The show is currently running its fourth season and has been confirmed for a fifth. Additionally, he has made appearances on shows such as HBO’s “The Night Of,” “What We Do in the Shadows,” “The Resident,” “Looking,” and “Gotham.” In cinema, Perfetti has acted in movies like “Sound of Metal” and “Twinless.

He is repped by Paradigm, Goodman Genow, and ID PR.

Currently, Sunday plays the role of Bianca Barclay in the globally popular Netflix series “Wednesday”. This show features a school named Nevermore where Wednesday Addams and Bianca are fellow students. The second season of this series is expected to release in 2025. In addition to this, Sunday has appeared on other TV shows such as “Dear White People” for Netflix and “Good Trouble” on Freeform.

She is repped by Gersh, Asteria Artists, The Lede Company and Del Shaw Moonves.

Steven Conrad assumes multiple roles on the show “DTF St. Louis,” including writer, series manager, executive producer, and director. Both Harbour and Bateman will serve as executive producers, with Bateman doing so under his production company, Aggregate Films. Other executive producers include Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch from Escape Artists; Molly Allen; Bruce Terris; Michael Costigan from Aggregate Films; Jennifer Scher for Elephant Pictures; Kristina Wenson for Bravo Axolotl; and MGM Television.
