According to Dennis Tafoya’s book titled “Dope Thief,” the story revolves around long-time companions Henry and Moura whose lives are shattered following a burglary that exposes an illicit drug route. The ensemble features Marin Ireland, Kate Mulgrew, Nesta Cooper, Amir Arison, Dustin Nguyen, and Ving Rhames, with Ridley Scott helming the premiere episode’s direction.

As a movie enthusiast, I’m excited to share that starting this coming Friday, March 14th, the thrilling series “Dope Thief” will be making its global debut on Apple TV+! The first two episodes will be available for me and fellow viewers to enjoy, with new episodes set to drop each week after that. Can’t wait to dive in!

The Black Network is broadening its entertainment offerings by establishing a specific Latin division, thereby enriching its free streaming service that has historically focused on amplifying Black perspectives.

Liana Mendoza, the content creator, will oversee ITBN’s fresh project. The initial movie procured under this venture is titled “The Low End Theory.” This independent crime thriller has made appearances at both the New York Latino and Guadalajara Film Festivals. It follows the journey of a beats producer maneuvering through the Los Angeles underground hip-hop subculture.

James DuBose, CEO and founder of The Black Network, believes that ‘The Low End Theory’ is perfect for introducing ITBN’s Latino Division. This new division aims to cater to Latinx audiences globally by presenting genuine, innovative, and welcoming narratives. In his statement, he noted that this move is a significant milestone in our goal to offer content that amuses, informs, and emphasizes various cultural tales.

On Thursday, February 27th, ITBN is set to make its grand entrance into the world of streaming platforms with a glamorous red-carpet event at the Fine Arts Cinema in Beverly Hills.

The Gotham Television Awards is coming back for its second round, and it’s now welcoming entries from contenders.

By March 24th, I’ve got to get my submissions in for the twelve award categories. Among them are the Breakthrough Drama Series, Limited Series, Outstanding Lead Performance in a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Performance in an Original Film. Can’t wait to see what this year’s contenders bring to the table!

Jeffrey Sharp, executive director of the Gotham Film & Media Institute, expressed his excitement for the upcoming 2nd Annual Gotham Television Awards. Last year’s debut event was a great success, and he is eager to expand upon it further.
