Netflix announces when the debut of its first English-language medical drama series, “Pulse,” will take place.

The drama series is set to premiere on April 3rd. Netflix has already unveiled some sneak peeks of the show, which you can check out just below.

The series titled “Pulse” was initially commissioned for production in February 2024. The star-studded cast includes Willa Fitzgerald, Colin Woodell, Justina Machado, Jack Bannon, Jessie T. Usher, Jessy Yates, Chelsea Muirhead, and Daniela Nieves, joined by Néstor Carbonell, Jessica Rothe, Santiago Segura, Ash Santos, and Arturo Del Puerto.

The series called “Pulse” was approved for broadcast in February 2024. The main cast members are Willa Fitzgerald, Colin Woodell, Justina Machado, Jack Bannon, Jessie T. Usher, Jessy Yates, Chelsea Muirhead, and Daniela Nieves, among others, such as Néstor Carbonell, Jessica Rothe, Santiago Segura, Ash Santos, and Arturo Del Puerto.

The official description for the series states:

During a hurricane approaching Miami’s major Trauma Center, where Dr. Danny Simms (Fitzgerald), a third-year resident, suddenly finds himself promoted due to the suspension of Chief Resident Dr. Xander Phillips (Woodell). As the storm intensifies and trauma cases flood in, the hospital goes into lockdown, forcing Danny and Phillips to collaborate despite a secret romance between them coming to light. The rest of the ER team grapples with the repercussions of this relationship while dealing with their own personal and professional struggles under the high-stress conditions that demand life-saving decisions. For these dedicated doctors, saving patients can sometimes be easier than navigating their own complex lives.

Zoe Robyn is the original developer of this series and takes on the roles of co-manager and executive producer. Additionally, Carlton Cuse serves as a co-manager and executive producer. Furthermore, Bradley Gardner, Emma Forman, Michael Klick, and Kate Dennis are also involved in producing the series as executives.

Following the achievement of “The Pitt,” Max is now introducing its new medical drama, titled “Pulse.” Notably, “The Pitt” has just been granted a second season and stars Noah Wyle. This release coincides with the trend among streaming platforms to reduce series costs, as procedural shows like this tend to be more cost-effective compared to the high-budget, prestige dramas that have dominated recently.
