On Friday, the 14th of February, Milei shared on social media that the $LIBRA coin could assist small enterprises and new ventures in Argentina with their funding needs.
Following his announcement, vast amounts of investment capital flowed into the cryptocurrency token, causing its worth to skyrocket at an astonishing pace – only for it to plummet dramatically and swiftly, reaching record lows.
A significant number of large cryptocurrency investors suffered losses totaling thousands, as the market value of LIBRA plummeted from over $4.4 billion to nearly nothing in a flash.

On X/Twitter, Ross demanded a refund for his investment.
He stated that he had learned about people receiving reimbursements. “Could you possibly issue a refund for the $300,000 I invested in your questionable cryptocurrency?” he asked. “If not, I’m planning to approach President Trump and share my experience of being scammed, as well as how many Americans have been affected. By the way, I do know him personally, as shown in this photograph.
