In summary, this game’s loot boxes offer more favorable chances compared to those found in other games. Specifically, every Legendary box contains at least one rare item. Additionally, various strategies have been implemented to maintain a consistent flow of rewards for the players.
Regardless of the loot box you choose, there’s always a Scarce item inside. Furthermore, an Epic is ensured in every set of five boxes, and a Legendary will pop up approximately once every 20 boxes. This means you can rest assured that you’ll receive decent rewards even without opening every loot box.
Additionally, the system ensures that no duplicates are obtained. If an item you already have appears again, it will be rolled again for a new one.
How to get loot boxes
As a gamer, I snag my loot boxes through weekly rewards, special events, Twitch Drops, seasonal Battle Passes, and soon enough, via a cool new Discord program! Game Director Aaron Keller just spilled the beans about this upcoming feature.
Instead of the original Overwatch, you cannot buy these characters with actual currency. Instead, they are accessible exclusively by playing the game itself.
Individuals who buy the Battle Pass will enjoy additional perks compared to those using the free version, as they can collect three Legendary loot boxes instead of one on the standard track. But don’t worry, with more than 100 loot boxes being distributed during Season 15, you’ll still have plenty of opportunities to receive rewards.
