Get Ready to Catch Rare Paradox Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Tera Raids!

In the Tera Raid rotation for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, two rare species that were previously hard to find – Walking Wake and Iron Leaves – are set to make their return, giving players another opportunity to capture them, albeit temporarily.

Although it was launched in 2022, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet continues to astound players with novel experiences. Simultaneously, Game Freak is making efforts to maintain an element of surprise while we await the arrival of Pokemon Legends Arceus (Z-A).

Most of the additional content for these games is offered through new Tera Raids, allowing players to challenge themselves and potentially capture rare Pokémon in the process. The team at Seribii has recently announced plans for an upcoming Tera Raid event that will grant players a chance to obtain some highly desired Pokémon from this generation.

On February 20, 2025, Walking Wake and Iron Leaves will be back temporarily in the world of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. These elusive Paradox Pokémon are notoriously difficult to catch in these games.

Walking Wake and Iron Leaves return for 5-Star Tera Raids

Since Walking Wake and Iron Leaves are exclusively available during uncommon Tera Raid sessions, it’s quite enticing to participate and collect them. This specific event acts like a chance for making up missed opportunities since you can catch only one of each character per save game.

In simpler terms, You can only initiate an Iron Leaves Tera Raid if you’re playing Pokemon Violet, and the Paradox Pokemon Walking Wake can only be found in Pokemon Scarlet. But don’t worry, if you have either game, you can still join Tera Raids featuring both of these exclusive creatures using the Poke Portal, allowing you to acquire them both.

As a dedicated fan, I’m excited to share that Game Freak has unveiled some fascinating details about the upcoming Pokémon! Walking Wake is set to be a Water Tera-type, which means it might give me a splashing good time. To maximize my chances of victory, I should prepare a formidable Grass or Electric-type Pokemon for this battle.

On the other hand, Iron Leaves will be a Psychic Tera-type, making it a potential challenge. In this encounter, I’d advise bringing along a Bug, Dark, or Ghost-type Pokemon to stand a better chance against its psychic prowess!
