Take the Skyward Voyage side quest for example, where you delve into the heartwarming story of an NPC named Davide, a man yearning for one last grand adventure before he hangs up his boots.
Currently, it falls upon Rovers to aid the elderly gentleman in realizing his aspirations. This entails collecting ‘Echoes’, which can facilitate his journey through the skies. Here’s a comprehensive guide on the Skyward Voyage quest within the game ‘Wuthering Waves’.
Where To Find Skyward Voyage Quest in Wuthering Waves
In the captivating world of Wuthering Waves, as I ventured deeper into Rinascita, progressing through the main story unlocked a thrilling side quest called Skyward Voyage by default. This journey begins when I chat with an old seafarer named Davide who can be found amongst the ruins, conveniently positioned northeast of the Twin Peaks.
A Resonance Beacon is there, allowing you instant travel to its location. Simply teleport and descend to the platform underneath to meet the NPC. Since this quest, known as Skyward Voyage, has no prior requirements, players can jump straight into it without any preparations.
Skyward Voyage Quest Walkthrough
At the outset of his final adventure, Davide plans to discuss the last trip of his life. His goal is to conquer the skies on this voyage, relying solely on a gondola for transport. The elderly man thinks that a TD, shaped like an oversized stuffed toy, is filled with raw power to propel his boat ahead.
Show Davide the Cuddle Wuddle
Davide seems to be referring to the Cuddle Wuddle Tacet Discord, a creature that can change into an Echo in “Wuthering Waves”. If you haven’t caught one yet, it might be useful for your quest to capture one. You can find these creatures quite frequently in Twin Peaks, Oakheart Highcourt, and various other locations within Rinascita. The Guidebook has a section dedicated to Echoes to aid you in tracking them down.
Show Davide the Tacet Discord, but put it in the active Resonator’s initial Echo slot instead of displaying it openly. Set the Projector on the Utility Wheel and activate it. Use the hotkey to display the Cuddle Wuddle near the NPC. Then, sit on the marker and watch a brief cutscene as the Old Captain tries and fails at his first voyage attempt, depicted through the scene.
Show Davide the Fae Ignis

After completing that task, make your way back to where Davide is and engage in conversation with him. Then, take a seat to observe his last journey. The Skyward Voyage quest concludes when you locate and speak to him at the Silver Moon Grove, an island situated to the north of Whisperwind Haven.
My Conquest Is The Sea of Stars Trophy In Wuthering Waves
In the game ‘Wuthering Waves’, players will earn the “Conquest of the Sea of Stars” achievement upon finishing the Skyward Voyage quest. This trophy appears in the Exploration category, granting 5x Asterite. Although the achievement’s reward is modest, successfully completing the mission also provides additional resources, in addition to the Premium Supply Chest that Davide presents as a gesture of thanks.
