Contrary to expectations, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League didn’t fare well and was considered a flop. However, the game wasn’t left in limbo, as the developers vowed to deliver four seasons of additional content. The final episode of this content, titled Episode 8: Balance, has now been released.
- This Episode brings the finale of the game’s plot – with a new mission in which players can fight the final battle with Brainiac.
- The episode also offers new skins and weapons.
The final episode, titled “Balance,” has marked the completion of the development process for “Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.” Although the active servers will eventually shut down, during Season 4, an offline mode has been introduced to ensure that the game remains playable in some capacity, making it accessible at all times.

Promising future of the Arkham universe
As a dedicated gamer, what really grabbed my attention in Episode 8: Balance was the captivating conclusion, hinting at an ongoing journey within the Arkham universe.
- The finale shows that the real Batman is alive, and the one we killed earlier was just a clone.
Indeed, those assumptions held by the enthusiasts have proven to be accurate. For a while, it was believed that the Justice League members we battled alongside in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, were actually clones of their superhero counterparts, crafted by Brainiac.
It was evident from the start that things weren’t as they seemed in this game. For example, when the true Flash was captured, he was missing a finger, yet the one we faced as an opponent later on had both hands intact. Similarly, after John Stewart’s death, his ring didn’t act like it typically does following the demise of every Green Lantern.
- This kind of ending paves the way for this universe to continue. In terms of the storyline, Arkhamverse could survive without Batman, but from a commercial point of view, it wouldn’t be a good choice.
- All this makes the creation of another game from the Batman: Arkham series more likely.
Following the setbacks of “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” and “Gotham Knights”, it appears that going back to the successful single-player series with Batman could be the ideal choice for WB Games. The dilemma, however, lies in who will develop this potential title – will it be Rocksteady Studios or possibly WB Games Montreal?
2024 saw me diving headfirst into the fray with “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” on my PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5. What a thrill!
