What happened in the previous episode of Sakamoto Days?
In the debut of Sakamoto Days, viewers were given a look into Sakamoto’s past. This initial episode presented scenes from his previous life, revealing why he chose to leave it behind. We also saw how Sakamoto met and married his wife. The premiere further introduced Shin Asakura, another significant character who had collaborated with Sakamoto in the past. Years later, Shin was sent to assassinate Taro Sakamoto by their organization. However, the episode concluded with Sakamoto and Shin eliminating the individual who instructed Shin to kill Sakamoto, and Shin, realizing there’s more to life than he initially believed, decided to work at Sakamoto’s store instead.
