A source known as Shiroha allegedly disclosed that Anaxa’s ultimate skill may temporarily halt enemy actions and inflict a random vulnerability on them. If this data is accurate, his ability appears to resemble Silver Wolf’s toolkit, potentially making him an effective addition to Nihility teams down the line. He could prove particularly valuable in team compositions requiring damage dealers or debuffers capable of breaking Weakness against tough opponents.
Possible Backstory
The well-known leaker Seele has revealed that in Honkai: Star Rail, Anaxa’s Coreflame may represent either Wisdom or Reason. Given that Anaxa is a scholar character, this ties in with his name originating from the ancient Greek philosopher Anaxagoras. While many Amphoreus characters in Honkai: Star Rail are inspired by gods and mythological figures from Greece, Anaxagoras was a real-life philosopher who believed that the intellect or mind, referred to as “nous,” was the driving force behind the universe’s creation.
Additionally, the term “Nous” is used to denote the Epoch of Wisdom, one of the three Routes believed to be associated with Amphoreus.
As a devoted follower, I’ve come to understand that Anaxa’s divine authority hails from Cerces, one of the Three Creator Titans, who embodies the Coreflame of Reason. From Honkai: Star Rail’s official blog, titled “Amphoreus and the Enigmatic Titans,” we learn that Cerces is believed to have brought forth Amphoreus as a grand, sacred tree. Known as the Titan of Reason, Cerces has granted humans the ability to attain enlightenment and delve deeply into knowledge.
In the planet’s past, Amphoreus’ 12 Titans held significant importance.
