101XP and Synthetic Domain, the publishers and developers respectively, have revealed that a complimentary prologue for their game Lords of Ravage, known as Lords of Ravage: Dread Knights, can now be downloaded from Steam.
Back in 2022, I eagerly awaited the announcement of Lords of Ravage, a game that initially promised a tactical turn-based RPG experience. Since then, updates have been few and far between. However, the latest description of the game paints it as a unique blend: a dark fantasy tactical RPG with roguelike features. In this role, I’ll be taking on the antagonist, building an army to crush my adversaries. Interestingly, the initial announcement mentioned console and PC releases, but today’s update only focuses on the PC version.

Lords of Ravage: Fearsome Conquerors – The Unshackled Edition
Description: This is a complimentary adaptation of the original game, Lords of Ravage, an immersive dark fantasy tactical RPG with roguelike characteristics, where you embody the adversary. Lead armies, trample heroes, and ravage kingdoms in pursuit of a potent artifact that holds the power to transform the world.
The story unfolds with Berold, a Lord from Ravage, also known as the Leader of the Knights of Terror. As he grows tired of the feeble-minded monarch, Berold decides it’s time to take control of his own fate. Prepare to embark on the journey of a leader who commands an army of followers and employs tactics, magic, and clever deceit to overthrow the king and become a living embodiment of fear.
