Nearly five years since the unfortunate passing of Caroline Flack, Disney+ is now producing a fresh documentary about the deceased British television presenter.

Under the proposed title “Caroline,” the story will be narrated from the perspective of Caroline’s mother, Christine, as she honors her daughter’s life and achievements while delving into the events leading up to her passing during her last few months. As stated by the producers, Christine will also endeavor to uncover the circumstances and insights that may have contributed to Caroline’s suicide in February 2000.

The upcoming movie, showcasing personal accounts from Caroline Flack’s family and acquaintances, will be produced by Curious Films – the same company responsible for the 2021 documentary “Caroline Flack: Her Life and Death”. This production is set to debut on Disney+ towards the end of 2025.

Christine Flack expressed that she’s eagerly looking forward to delving deeper into the events surrounding Caroline’s last months, despite knowing it won’t be an easy task. She’s excited to collaborate with Curious Films again, aiming to shed light on Carrie’s story so as to provide insight not only for her but also for everyone who held dear affections for her.

Caroline” is set to be overseen as an executive producer by Dov Freedman, Charlie Russell, and Jessie Versluys, under Curious Films. The film will be helmed by Christian Collerton as director and Sophie Clayton-Payne as the producer. This documentary was greenlit by Sean Doyle, the executive director of unscripted content. Additionally, Gaby Aung, Disney+’s senior manager for unscripted content, is also serving as an executive producer.

Although it’s not usual to revisit a topic, more than four years after Caroline’s heartbreaking passing, there are still numerous questions left unanswered for Christine and her family. As executive producer at Curious Films, I am glad we can work with the Flack family again in an effort to find some closure regarding the unfortunate circumstances surrounding Caroline’s death,” said Freedman.

Aung mentioned, “It’s an honor for us to collaborate with Christine Flack and our associates at Curious, as we delve into the journey of a family seeking truth and pay tribute to Caroline, five years after her heartbreaking demise.
