Hasan Piker has strongly denied accusations that he used a shock collar on his dog, Kaya. He posted a TikTok video, filmed while live-streaming on Twitch, to directly address the claims after they gained attention online.
The issue started when a viral video clip showed Kaya reacting behind Hasan during one of his livestreams. People online guessed he was using a shock collar to keep her away from the bed, and that idea quickly spread on social media.
Hasan posts TikTok about “collar gate”
In a TikTok posted on October 14th, Hasan shared a compilation of his reactions to comments from his livestream. He responded to viewers who thought the recent controversy was exaggerated by saying, “The best way to disprove lies is to look at what’s actually happening,” and then gestured towards Kaya, who was visible behind him on camera.
It’s clear she’s doing well – she’s just relaxing right there. I think I even lulled her to sleep! I bet a lot of people have come in here expecting to see me mistreating her, thinking, ‘This guy must be awful!’ Then they see Kaya calmly chilling or even trying to sit with me, and they realize they were wrong. I’m sure there have been hundreds of people who initially came in here with a negative attitude, only to realize they misjudged the situation and that maybe they were the ones who were off-base.
Hasan replied to someone who apologized for initially believing the false claims, saying that the best way to counter lies is to look at what’s actually happening.
Hasan’s TikTok video is getting a lot of attention as his reply to the claims made against him. However, people are still discussing the original video clip, and many, like popular streamer xQc, believe he did use a shock collar.
QTCinderella visited Hasan and noticed his shock collar only had a vibration setting, with the parts that deliver shocks taken off.
QTCinderella stepped in to support Hasan while at the FaZe house, explaining that Kaya’s e-collar used to have a shock function before the metal prongs were removed. She clarified that while it now only vibrates, it previously had settings for both vibration and shock.

Hasan says Kaya cried out when she accidentally hit her foot getting out of bed. He also strongly denies ever using a shock collar or any device like it, calling the idea completely false and ridiculous.
Okay, so Hasan just posted another TikTok trying to address all the stuff people are saying about him. It’s not the first time he’s talked about it – he already denied everything while he was live on stream, but this seems like he’s trying to set the record straight again.
