Nintendo unveiled its upcoming collaboration with Lego, which will be a Lego set modeled after the classic Game Boy handheld. This latest offering from Lego is part of their collection that also includes models of other iconic video game systems such as the NES and Atari.
As a gamer, I was thrilled to see Lego and Nintendo unveil a sneak peek of the upcoming Lego Game Boy kit on their social media platform (previously known as Twitter). Although the final design is still under wraps, the brief teaser video highlighted familiar elements such as the iconic purple face buttons, black D-pad, and fragments of the gray casing. If the scale of the showcased components matches the final product, this upcoming Lego display set could be approximately the same size as the classic Game Boy DMG handheld, bringing a piece of gaming history to life in a unique Lego way!
In summary, the brief trailer ends by confirming that the Lego Game Boy set will hit the market in October. However, no particular release date or cost details were disclosed. Rest assured, we’ll keep you posted as soon as further details are revealed, such as when preorders can be made.
