At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, where Nvidia unveiled its GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs for desktop computers, MSI, a PC hardware company, has introduced several new gaming laptops equipped with laptop versions of Nvidia’s upcoming GPU technology.
The standout product is the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Norse Myth, a high-end model boasting diverse hardware options. The top-tier version showcases a GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, and up to a massive 96GB of DDR5 RAM. Additionally, there will be an RTX 5080 model available. This 18-inch laptop offers a 4K UHD MiniLED screen with a swift refresh rate of 120Hz, as well as a distinctive design adorned with a hand-drawn dragon image and Nordic runes.
Apart from the Dragon Edition Nose MytH PC laptop, there will also be regular Titan 18 HX versions that do not have the fantasy design but still offer the same powerful hardware choices. MSI mentioned that all these models come equipped with a 270 Watt system power, making it comparable to many desktop setups.
Apart from the MSI RTX 50-series laptop collection, there are several other models such as the Intel-powered Raider 18 HX, Stealth 18 HX, Vector 17 HX AI, and Vector 16 HX AI, along with the AMD-driven Raider A18 HX, Vector A18 HX, and Stealth A16 AI+. These laptops are all outfitted with either an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, or 5070 Ti mobile GPUs and paired with the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 2, AMD Ryzen 9 9000, or Ryzen 3000 AI Series CPUs. This hardware setup allows these laptops to leverage the rendering and AI capabilities of the RTX 50-series, including the new DLSS 4 upscaling technology from Nvidia, which is designed to enhance rendering performance and gameplay fluidity without demanding extensive computational resources.

Additionally, MSI plans to introduce fresh models within their Crosshair and Pulse laptop series, all equipped with the GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card.
It seems that MSI hasn’t disclosed the pricing or availability of their latest laptop models yet. However, given that Nvidia announced the first laptops sporting GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs are coming out in March, it’s reasonable to anticipate that MSI’s models might be released around the same timeframe.
