Streamer Johnny Somali finds himself under additional legal scrutiny, potentially leading to extended imprisonment, following an incident on a South Korean bus where his actions led to further complications due to his ignorance of the individuals involved.
Johnny Somali has gained notoriety as a prominent online content creator, causing chaos and disruption in Japan and Israel through his unpredictable live streams.
2024 saw the arrival of Ramsey Khalid Ismael, previously known as Somali, in South Korea. Shortly after settling, he resumed his pattern of instigating problems in local businesses and bothering residents.
When confronted with his unacceptable actions, South Koreans responded forcefully against Somali, instigating several violent attacks, one of which involved a Korean Special Forces YouTuber. The police also brought charges against the streamer after they caught him causing disturbances in a 7-Eleven store.
Currently, Somali finds themselves in another predicament following an occurrence on a bus. Unfortunately, their actions disrupted the public transport schedule unknowingly, as it turned out that the bus company’s manager happened to be on the same vehicle at the time.
Johnny Somali in deep trouble after incident in South Korean bus
Based on reports from YouTubers BangTV and legal expert Legal Mindset, Somali has found himself in more legal trouble related to business impediments following his disruptive behavior on a bus during his travels in South Korea.
As I cruised down the road with my crew, blaring some tunes from Somalia that had everyone grooving, I guess I got a bit too caught up in the moment. When fellow passengers and even the driver asked me to turn it down, I just kept on jamming, oblivious to their requests.
It appears we are referring to an instance involving Johnny Somali, where he allegedly disrupted operations on a Gyeonseong Bus. A criminal complaint has been filed under the hashtag #johnnysomali. We hope that these reports, including the one about his actions at the 7-11 store, will lead to his imprisonment. It’s frustrating to see such behavior causing trouble… 😠

According to reports, following the mischief believed to have caused the delay, the bus driver managed to offer a statement to the relevant authorities.
The person responsible for managing passengers on the bus in Gyeongseong was actually on the bus during that time, asserting that the situation with Somali had negatively affected his business.
The accusations have been admitted and forwarded to the prosecutors. According to Legal Mindset, with the accumulating charges, it’s highly likely that Somali will serve some prison time.
This situation is significant since it’s accumulative. The individual engaged in actions without realizing that the manager was present on the bus. A more severe allegation is impending against him,” the attorney clarified.
Given that Somali is currently facing several charges related to obstruction of justice, there’s a higher probability that he won’t just be penalized with a fine but may also serve some time in prison instead.
If the bus driver needs to stand up and address you or manage your behavior, that’s considered an obstruction, as you’re causing a delay. It’s important to note that Korean buses are known for their punctuality. Even minor delays from passengers can significantly impact the overall schedule, potentially disrupting it for the entire day. If you happen to cause such delays, even by just five minutes, it can have a domino effect on the rest of the day’s schedule.
The creator has been facing additional accusations lately, with further charges apparently on the horizon following a postponement of his trial from December 2024 until March 2025.
In addition to allegations regarding breaches of anti-terrorism regulations, it’s been claimed that Somali has made threats against female broadcasters involving sexual assault, used illegal substances, broken railroad laws, and even disseminated North Korean propaganda.
In addition to the ongoing investigations against him, Johnny finds himself in a tough spot because he can’t depart the country and earn money since streaming is off-limits for him at this time.
