Based on the initial days of January, it seems that the year 2025 could be a bustling and action-packed one in the realm of media and entertainment.

Ahead of the Entertainment Summit by EbMaster on January 8 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas (our yearly event where we review the past year and anticipate the future), today we officially announce the EbMaster 500 for this year. This is our annual international directory highlighting key figures in the entertainment industry, encompassing TV, film, music, gaming, digital media, technology related to entertainment, and other fields closely associated with Hollywood.

In the eighth year of EbMaster 500, we’ve introduced two new sections: Marketers and Podcasters/Audio. These categories mirror the shifting tides of business in 2025 and serve as influential platforms for executives and artists alike. With marketing spanning numerous outlets, it’s never been more vital to stand out in today’s competitive landscape. This is particularly relevant for TV shows, movies, music, video games, and other content vying for attention amidst the endless array of options available to consumers round the clock.

Following the thrilling ups and downs of the 2024 presidential election, it was an uncomplicated choice to create a niche for podcasters and audio professionals for EbMaster 500 in this instance.

A sampling of newcomers to the list this year and their categories:

François-Henri Pinault, a notable figure, aspires to weave together the strands of his spheres in entertainment, retail, and fashion. He is the proprietor of CAA and the Kering brand conglomerate.

Zoe Saldaña, a versatile actress of the 21st century, is equally comfortable starring in big-budget blockbusters as she is in experimental films like “Emilia Pérez.” (We chose to highlight her talent before she and the movie garnered numerous accolades at the Golden Globe Awards.)

Joe Rogan (Podcaster/Radio Host): Since the peak of Walter Winchell’s time, no single individual wielding a microphone has held as much sway over both politics and cultural trends as Joe Rogan does now.

Celine Song, the acclaimed Korean-Canadian filmmaker: With her 2023 release “Past Lives”, which earned nominations for Best Picture and Original Screenplay at the Oscars, it’s clear that she is set to make a significant impact on the global cinema landscape.

Shannon Ryan (in her role as Marketing President for Disney Entertainment Television) manages a massive promotional apparatus for Disney’s extensive collection of assets, reaching unparalleled levels of operation.

Jensen Huang (Visionary Pioneers): For years, the CEO of Nvidia has dedicated his efforts towards creating microchips that fuel artificial intelligence applications – a field many of us were barely familiar with during Bill Clinton’s presidency.
