The release date for Season 5 of F1 24 has been set for Wednesday, January 8th, 2024. However, let’s discuss the exciting content that awaits us in this new season!

Retro-Inspired Liveries

Between January 8th and March 5th, players can expect to see two new retro-inspired liveries

Initially, you have the Grove Classic, it’s given as the first prize in the VIP tier 1 of the Podium Pass. In contrast, the Hethel Classic livery isn’t included; instead, you can acquire it using Pitcoins from the game’s internal store.

Liam Lawson Singapore Pro Challenge

Excitedly speaking here as a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be rooting for Liam Lawson in Season 5, the Singapore Pro Challenge! This 22-year-old racer is set to fill Sergio Perez’s shoes and race alongside four-time defending World Champion, Max Verstappen. With 11 races under his belt over the last two seasons, Lawson brings valuable experience to the track. I can hardly wait to see him in action!

At the 2023 Singapore Grand Prix, Lawson achieved his initial career points. His fastest lap was recorded at 1:30:495, implying that superior performance is necessary to secure a unique VISA CashApp RB livery for the Miami Grand Prix.

As an ardent supporter, I’m eagerly anticipating Lawson’s efforts to restore Red Bull’s dominance in the Constructor’s Cup. Alongside Verstappen, we’re ready to battle it out, striving for that coveted first position come race weekend.

Daniel Ricciardo Challenge Career

Daniel Ricciardo’s tenure as an F1 driver could be coming to an end. Over a span of 14 years, he drove for various teams and even reached the top 3 at one point. However, Formula One racing is notoriously ruthless, often discarding drivers if they fail to deliver immediate results. Given this tough reality, it’s truly commendable that Ricciardo was able to compete for such a lengthy period.

Season 5’s Challenge Career features four new episodes that celebrates Ricciardo’s career:

  • Episode 1 (Jan 8-15) – Australia, China
    • Reward: “Nitro Buzz” Helmet
  • Episode 2 (Jan 15-22) – Monaco, Canada
    • Reward: “Nitro Buzz” Race Suit
  • Episode 3 (Jan 22-29) – Hungary, Belgium
    • Reward: “Nitro Buzz” Gloves
  • Episode 4 (Jan 29-Feb 3) – Monza, Azerbaijan
    • Reward: “Nitro Buzz” Livery

Elimination Mode Returns to F1

In the Return of the Elimination Mode to Formula 1, the contest is straightforward: Every 30 seconds, the racer at the back is disqualified. The one who manages to survive is declared the winner. Successfully finishing Elimination Mode challenges offers rewards.

For reaching 7th place or higher in Elimination Mode events weekly, you will receive the ‘Tidal’ collection this time. Here are the details of when and how you can obtain it:

“This week, if you finish 7th or higher in Elimination Mode, you will earn the ‘Tidal’ set.”)
