At the CES 2025 event, Razer unveiled the upcoming version of its Razer Blade 16 gaming laptop. This new model aims to be more than just a high-performance gaming machine; it’s also Razer’s most compact gaming laptop so far.
The latest Razer Blade 16 boasts a slimmer chassis, measuring 32% thinner compared to its predecessor, now standing at 0.59 inches. To ensure the reduction in size doesn’t compromise durability, cooling capabilities, or usability, Razer has made strategic adjustments to the laptop’s design. The revamped laptop sports a robust metal body crafted from a single piece of anodized aluminum and employs vapor chamber cooling technology. Additionally, the redesign introduces a new keyboard with 1.5mm key travel, representing a 50% increase compared to its previous version.
The Razer Blade 16 laptop comes with various hardware setup choices, with the premium version boasting an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. Further specifics about other components will be shared at a later time. Each model showcases a 16-inch OLED screen offering QHD+ resolution (3200 x 1800 pixels), a 240Hz refresh rate, and an ultra-fast response time of 0.2ms.
The Razer Blade 16 (2025 edition) is expected to hit the market around the first quarter of 2025. As for its price and preorder details, they are yet to be disclosed. However, you can register on Razer’s website to receive notifications when it becomes available.
The latest Razer Blade 16 marks the initial significant reveal from Razer at CES, yet there’s likely more to come during the event. Additionally, numerous other firms have unveiled new PC gaming hardware; for example, AMD plans to launch its Radeon RX 9070 graphics cards and Ryzen 9 99503XD CPUs in the early part of this year.
