3 upcoming Pokemon Go gatherings will be taking place in real life, with Niantic revealing when and where Pokemon Go Fest 2025 will take place.
During Pokémon Go Fest, there are real-world events held in various cities over several days, culminating in a worldwide event where everyone can join. Historically, these gatherings have marked the introduction of new Pokémon and their forms, like when Dawn Wings & Dusk Mane Necrozma made their first appearance in 2024.
Through their official social media platforms, it’s been announced that the Pokémon Go Fest for 2025 will occur at a specified time and location. This provides dedicated and nearby enthusiasts with ample opportunity to get ready for some of the year’s most anticipated events within the game.
Pokemon Go Fest 2025 locations and dates
Niantic has confirmed that the schedule for Pokemon Go Fest 2025 in-person events is as follows:
- May 29 – June 1: Osaka, Japan
- June 6 – 8: Jersey City, New Jersey
- June 13 – 15: Paris, France
Niantic hasn’t officially announced a global event where players can participate in unique Raid battles and encounters, without needing to travel. This event is expected to take place soon after the Paris event concludes.
For Pokemon Go Fest 2025, the developers have kept secret which Pokemon will show up in Raids or the wild. The grand event itself is taking place in Paris. Given that Pokemon Legends Z-A is slated for release in 2025 and it’s set in Lumiose City, which mirrors the City of Love, it seems fitting that this romantic city could be a likely location for some exciting Pokemon encounters!
In other words, since Pokemon Legends Z-A is scheduled for a 2025 launch, it’s possible that Pokemon from the Kalos region might show up in Paris during Go Fest events. At this point, though, this is merely speculation, and we’ll need to wait for Niantic and The Pokemon Company to provide further details.
