TikToker Lorenzo Buffa, better known as Cabinfruit, has died at 29 years old.
In recent times, Cabinfruit has garnered a significant fanbase on social media platforms, primarily by showcasing his daily experiences living secluded within a forest cabin.
He has accumulated more than a million followers on TikTok by itself, and even more, hundreds of thousands, across various other social media platforms.
On January 5th, 2025, Buffa shared an Instagram post expressing that he had reunited with Myles, the dog he lost in 2023.
Cabinfruit dies at age 29
I’m reunited with Myles, let’s see how it goes. I want to apologize to everyone. Some could have shown me kindness but chose not to, leaving me alone with a monster who had gradually broken me over the past five years. I became trapped in what is known as Stockholm syndrome, finding fleeting glimmers of hope and love amidst scarcity and loss, only to be met with further punishment.
Over time, problems with his former partner negatively impacted his mental wellbeing, and all he yearned for was affection.

Many enthusiasts flooded the comment section expressing their affection for Lorenzo, leading some to speculate that he might have taken his own life.
I’m deeply sorry that the pain became unbearable for you, causing you to leave us. I will dearly miss your creative imagination, your kind-hearted nature, and the radiant spirit of your soul. I wish peace, love, and what you truly deserve in the next chapter of your journey.

This is following a time when TikTok users paid their tributes to “Baby Bowen,” the little boy who tragically passed away at only three years old.
