KFC has launched a special Squid Game meal for a brief period, featuring a distinctively hued bun that many believe enhances the appeal of the combination.

In the series Squid Game, the enforcers known as Pink Soldiers are dressed in vibrant pink jumpsuits and maintain a stern demeanor, enforcing rigid guidelines and organizing the participants with military-like precision.

To honor the soldiers and the second season release of the Netflix series, KFC introduced a unique pink sesame seed bun in their menu.

In Spain right now, you can get the KFC Squid Game meal which features a tasty chicken fillet sandwich smothered in Korean BBQ sauce, accompanied by coleslaw and pickles, all served on a unique pink bun that’s only available for a limited time.

The KFC Squid Game meal provides a choice between a bucket containing 12 zesty wings or 10 crunchy chicken strips, all coated with a tantalizing Korean BBQ sauce.

To bring the game even more alive, the packaging for the meal has images of Squid Game characters.

KFC customers in the US envious of Squid Game meal in Spain

In cities where the Squid Game meal is served, customers have expressed their appreciation for both its appearance and flavor. On the other hand, KFC enthusiasts in the United States have begun to feel a touch of jealousy towards its success in Spain.

As a gaming enthusiast scrolling through Instagram, I can’t help but feel that every epic collaboration or must-have item seems to elude me because it’s never available in the good ol’ US of A!

The US lacks certain fast-food experiences compared to other countries, which is why I don’t criticize people who try these dishes abroad. Believe me, they taste better overseas.

Often, it’s claimed that America receives all the exciting collaborations, but what we see is merely more exposure. Many times, these international collaborations are fantastic and superior to most American projects,” said a third person.

Just like KFC Spain, other fast food chains such as McDonald’s in Australia have also come up with Squid Game-inspired meals. An example is their Squid Game meal which included a dalgona candy challenge for customers. If a lucky participant managed to carve the desired shape out of the candy without breaking it, they stood a chance to win an impressive $100K!
