As a long-time CS:GO fan, I must say that 2024 has been quite the rollercoaster ride for team rosters, but the potential move of Robin “ropz” Kool to Vitality from FaZe is undoubtedly one of the most intriguing twists! Ropz has had an impressive run with FaZe, winning seven LANs since joining in 2022, and I can’t help but feel a tinge of sadness as he leaves behind his teammates karrigan, rain, broky, frozen, and coach NEO.

2024’s year-end sees several adjustments in competitive CS2 squads, varying from bench placements to complete team overhauls. However, a potentially shocking decision might be brewing for Vitality enthusiasts as Robin “ropz” Kool is rumored to shift from FaZe to the French team, based on HLTV.org reports.

Since January 2022, the Estonian player has been a part of FaZe Clan. He came on board following a five-year stint with MOUZ. In FaZe, ropz has had an impressive tenure, contributing to the team’s victory in seven LAN tournaments, including IEM Chengdu 2024. Apart from ropz, the current roster includes veterans Finn “karrigan” Andersen (In-Game Leader), Håvard “rain” Nygaard, Helvijs “broky” Saukants, and David “frozen” Čerňanský. The team is guided by coach Filip “NEO” Kubski.

Following ropz’s transition to Vitality, the current lineup of the French team will be as follows:

  • Dan “apEX” Madesclaire
  • Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut
  • Shahar “flameZ” Shushan
  • William “mezii” Merriman
  • Robin “ropz” Kool

In this revised scenario, Ropz takes over for Lotan “Spinx” Giladi, who has been moved to the bench. Team leadership falls under the guidance of coach Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam.
