According to the present plan, Mirthwoord’s developers have scheduled a special Holiday-themed update, titled “Night of Falling Stars,” for December 2024. This update will bring players an enriched game story through new quests, an overhauled battle system, a more extensive World Map, and fresh cosmetic items, among other features.
As stated in an official announcement, the “Night of Falling Stars” update brings a fresh narrative: “The aristocracy of Turien is preparing to flaunt their wealth by hosting the grandest masquerade ball ever – the Starlight Ball. You’ve received a formal invitation to this event; but it seems that the mysterious host might have hidden agendas to reveal, and you must uncover them, as well as untangle the web of secrets surrounding the night’s attendees.
In this update, the developer has added various themed cosmetics that come with an array of fashionable clothes, stylish hairdos, and numerous hats. Players can now dress up extravagantly for the upcoming masquerade event. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to modify their character’s appearance using a Magic Mirror and a new vanity slot specifically designed for helmets. This way, they can showcase their elaborate headpieces while retaining the defensive properties of their original helmets.
In addition to progressing the storyline with exciting new quests, this update introduces a variety of fresh crops to Mirthwood for players to cultivate. As a devoted player, I’m thrilled to share that the creator has announced a recurring feature coming up, which will be a part of the game during each winter season hereon. This update brings exciting new enhancements to the game’s combat system, as promised in a previous developer post. The changes are designed to make the action more immersive and engaging for us players. Additionally, stamina management has been overhauled, with it now being depleted during combat actions or when running.
