As a long-time fan of CoryxKenshin, I can’t help but be thrilled by his recent return and the unveiling of his new manga, Monsters We Make. His journey from YouTube star to manga author is nothing short of inspiring, especially after his year-and-a-half hiatus that had us all on the edge of our seats waiting for his next move.

After almost two years of absence, popular YouTuber CoryxKenshin is back in action, launching his own manga. His ambition is to see this work transformed into a full-blown anime series by renowned production houses such as Netflix or Mappa.

On December 13, following a prolonged absence of 18 months, CoryxKenshin made his return to the web, causing a significant stir that essentially crashed the internet. Immediately upon his comeback, he soared to the summit of YouTube’s trending list.

He explained his absence was due to locking in and focusing on his next big project, a manga titled Monsters We Make.

On the 16th of December, I shared another video, delving further into my recent break, where I revealed my primary objective: turning my manga into an anime. I’ve got some serious plans brewing for this series!

CoryxKenshin’s “ultimate goal” to adapt his manga into anime

Indeed, Cory explicitly pointed out studios such as Netflix, Crunchyroll, and even MAPPA (known for Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan productions) and urged them to seize the opportunity while the excitement is high, to be the pioneers in adapting his story from print to screen.

He expressed that his secondary aspiration for ‘Monsters We Make’ involves transforming the manga into an animated series,” he stated. “Apart from crafting a compelling narrative, this objective, in essence, is all about bringing ‘Monsters We Make’ to a production studio.

To reach this objective, Cory understands the need to demonstrate that his story sparks interest, and he encouraged fans to purchase a copy if they find themselves captivated by what he’s revealed thus far.

…”I need to present my best self to these animation studios,” he went on. “I truly believe that Monsters We Make will be extraordinary. So, Netflix, Crunchyroll, Mappa – I’m directing this towards you. If anyone is interested in bidding on the project, do it promptly. I feel I have something unique to offer.

Additionally, Cory hinted that he’s been busy with another venture, without revealing many details, which has left fans eagerly anticipating his upcoming endeavor.

With his past experiences, there’s no telling what extraordinary culinary creations Cory might be developing behind the scenes after this recent disclosure.

Indeed, he also appeared in a minor role in the Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s film. He made this revelation in his last video prior to going offline for an extended period, so it’s anyone’s guess what projects he might have in store for the future.
