As a battle-hardened survivor of countless Zed invasions, my heart skipped a beat when I heard the news about Killing Floor 3 during The Game Awards. It’s been too long since I last stood shoulder to shoulder with my comrades, facing down the horrors of the post-apocalyptic world. The year is 2091, and it seems the mega corporations have taken their love for bioengineering a step too far.

At The Game Awards, it was revealed that Killing Floor 3 will be released for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC in March 2025. This upcoming game is a sequel to Killing Floor 2, which was launched almost a decade ago. Set in the year 2091, the story follows a mega corporation that has genetically engineered creatures known as Zeds. Your role will be that of a member of the rebellion group Nightfall, tasked with eliminating these menacing hordes of monstrous beings.

In “Killing Floor 3,” teams of up to five players engage in a cooperative horror experience, where they fight off colossal swarms of bioengineered beasts using an assortment of weapons such as explosive bows, heavy machine guns, and more. Cross-platform play is supported in this game, and there’s an upcoming closed beta that you can register for on the official website.
