As a long-time fan of One Piece with over a decade of sailing through its enchanting seas, I can’t help but feel a shiver down my spine when reading about the potential second time skip. Having witnessed the first one that left us all reeling, I can only imagine the excitement and anticipation that such an event would bring.

Warning! Below are spoilers from One Piece manga.

At long last, the Straw Hat gang has made it to Elbaph, a significant destination along their voyage. Yet, their journey in this land is just commencing, yet they’ve already achieved a crucial milestone – Robin reunited with an old companion. This heartwarming encounter is not the only event waiting for the Straw Hats on the island of titans.

In the upcoming chapters, there could potentially be another jump forward in time within the OP storyline. A hint towards this might have been given by the explorer Louis Arnot at the end of chapter 1132 in the manga, which seems to imply that time passes more slowly on Elbaph compared to other locations.

Explorers, don’t lament the time spent in the colossal, enigmatic realm of Elbaph. But should you remember anything from my narration, remember this: Be mindful of prolonging your stay within its borders.

The phrases “wasted time” and “don’t overdo your welcome here” may hold deeper meanings than they appear. Exploring Elbaph could be seen as an intriguing test of patience due to the island’s compact size and distinct characteristics, suggesting that there might be hidden secrets worth discovering in this unique place. It seems Arnott’s words hint at more than just a casual observation.

Arnot might be cautioning prospective voyagers against lingering excessively on the isle of Elbaph, for it’s possible that time moves significantly slower there. Consequently, if they heed this advice, the Straw Hat Pirates could find themselves astonished by how much the chase for One Piece has progressed upon their departure from Elbaph, potentially leaving them behind in the race.

It’s quite probable that there will be a jump in time at this stage of the story, providing players with enough time to prepare for the imminent climax, which is rapidly approaching now that the end of One Piece has been announced by Eiichiro Oda.

It’s quite possible that any time jump in the narrative will be brief compared to the initial one. Currently, the Straw Hat crew can scarcely spare more than a couple of years since such an extended gap might derail them from their pursuit of the One Piece, their ultimate objective.
