The Outlast Trials' Project Breach Update Introduces A New Trial, Ability, Enemies, & More

As a seasoned survival horror enthusiast with countless nights spent cowering behind flickering walls of light, I can confidently say that The Outlast Trials’ Project Breach update has sent shivers down my spine once more! The new Trial, environment, enemy, and player ability have breathed fresh life into the game, offering exciting challenges for even the most hardened players.

The latest update for The Outlast Trials, titled Project Breach, has just been released! This substantial expansion includes a brand-new challenge (“Pleasure the Prosecutor”), a novel setting (Downtown), a new adversary, and an innovative player tool called the Jammer Rig. Notably, it introduces a fresh character: Amelia Collier, an asylum escapee who plays a significant role in this update.

The chapter signifies a fresh start for the game, according to Red Barrels, since it presents novel narrative aspects, game mechanics, and obstacles.

The recently introduced skill called the Jammer Rig has the power to deactivate electronic gadgets, making it an excellent choice for tactical players according to the developers. This feature enables you to interfere with the usual gameplay setting and even snag some additional resources.

Conversely, the latest threat we face is known as the Molotov. As one might expect, it hurls explosive Molotov cocktails, causing flames to spread across dangerous zones which need to be carefully navigated.

  • Bring the Family Back Together: The traditional family structure, which consists of parents and their children, is often seen as the norm in society. It’s time to free an orphan from government care and bring them back into the loving embrace of their biological parents.

  • Revisiting the past with the Futtermans might hinder your personal development. It’s beneficial to let go of youthful reminiscences that crowd your thoughts.

In addition to the fresh content, there’s an exciting new trailer that showcases everything. You can watch the Project Breach trailer right here:

The update also includes a winter event called Winter Kills. Players can collect gifts for extra rewards, and will occasionally experience piercing cold air in trials. Also, throughout the event gas mines are temporarily frost mines!

Furthermore, in the spirit of the festive period, the Unholy Night DLC bundle has been released. This includes 8 legendary costumes, decorative reagent cells, and customizable player icons, priced at $19.99.

Project Breach is live now on all platforms.
