As a die-hard fan who has binged Squid Game multiple times and survived countless sleepless nights due to the cliffhanger ending of Season 1, this collaboration between Domino’s and Netflix is nothing short of heaven-sent! I can’t help but feel a strange sense of deja vu when I think about the time I won a year’s supply of pizza during Stranger Things’ premiere on Netflix. It seems like I’ve got a knack for being in the right place at the right time (or should I say, the wrong place at the wrong time and then getting rewarded with pizza?).
Domino’s Pizza is partnering with Netflix for the launch of Squid Game Season 2. They are offering a chance for players to potentially receive a full year’s worth of free pizzas as part of the celebration!
‘Experience Squid Game’ has opened up at Manhattan Mall in New York City, allowing enthusiasts a captivating plunge into the world of the popular show.
Starting on December 12th, Domino’s and Netflix will be awarding a unique prize to the participant with the least score in each competitive group. The reward is a full year of complimentary Emergency Pizzas, courtesy of Domino’s.
In a press release, Kate Trumbull, Domino’s Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, stated, “For those who have seen ‘Squid Game’ on Netflix, you know that losing is the worst-case scenario. However, we at Domino’s are ready to change that situation around.
To help our players through tough times, we’re turning their difficulties into opportunities. By resolving their stressful situations, we’re offering them a full year of free pizza from Domino’s. This way, they can enjoy a pizza whenever an unexpected event arises.
In this instance, Domino’s has partnered with Netflix for a second time, having previously collaborated during the debut of Stranger Things’ fourth season on their streaming service.
Trumbull expressed his excitement about collaborating with Netflix again, this time on a unique and surprising brand partnership. The ‘Squid Game’ activation of Emergency Pizza will be reaching more audiences in locations beyond expectation, in ways that one could hardly imagine!
Squid Game: The Event offers a completely engaging experience modeled after the hit Netflix program. Contestants face five challenges drawn from the show, followed by relaxation and enjoyment at a market themed around Korea afterwards.
At the close of every game on December 12th, a Pink Guard will give each losing player from each group a unique consolation prize – a full year’s worth of emergency pizzas. This reward is equivalent to $500 in Domino’s gift cards, which come packaged in a distinctive Domino’s and Squid Game-inspired Dalgona tin.
In partnership with Netflix, Domino’s has introduced tailored advertisements inspired by Squid Game. These ads show Emergency Pizza deliveries arriving at critical instances in the popular series, like the “Red Light, Green Light” scene and the “Dalgona Challenge.
On December 26th, Squid Game Season 2 becomes available on Netflix! To keep yourself occupied before then, delve into the reasons why the show’s creator envisions an end to the story in Season 3, and don’t miss out on other compelling series recommended for fans of Squid Game: The Challenge.
