As a long-time follower of international television, I am genuinely thrilled about the upcoming launch of Vaba TV and their acquisition of “Fatal Game.” Being a fan of both mystery and suspense genres, this high-production value series seems tailor-made for my taste buds.

Starting in January, the upcoming streaming service Vaba TV will debut the murder mystery series “Fatal Game,” a captivating eight-part drama featuring German actor Til Schweiger (“Inglourious Basterds”). Produced by USATV Productions, this project also includes performances from French-Brazilian actor Renan Pacheco (“Désordres”) and Chase Mattson.

“Fatal Game” penned by Sara Sarkissian and Anush Petrosyan, revolves around a gathering of ten friends who jet off to a secluded island for an engagement celebration. However, when a heinous crime unfolds amidst the festivities, what was initially a harmless pastime turns into a life-threatening predicament. With only 72 hours before the next boat arrives and each new victim appearing every five hours, these friends are left with no choice but to unmask the killer before it’s all over.

According to Bagrat Sargsyan, the president of USATV Productions, this series boasts top-notch production quality and an engaging storyline that unfolds interactively. He predicts it will be essential viewing for enthusiasts of mystery, suspense, and thrillers.

The show is helmed by Roberto Ahumada, who previously made his directorial debut with the drama “Second Chances,” a female-centric production featuring Denise Richards (“Paper Empire”), AnnaLynne McCord (“90210”), and Carolina Gaitán (“Encanto”). Notably, Ahumada was responsible for penning, directing, and producing all ten episodes of “Second Chances.

The global broadcast of the show is scheduled for early 2025, with Vaba TV being one of the stations to air it. The main cast consists of Gracie Knight, Isaiah Locust, Nova Gaver, Bobby Slaski, Matt Tang, Anna Simonyan, Emma Kotos, and Bella Azzata, alongside others.

USATV Productions’ past series include “Second Chances” and “Nova Vita.”
