Valkyrae announced that she scheduled a meeting with a legal professional, following her criticisms towards posts by X which misrepresented segments from her live broadcasts in an attempt to provoke hostility.
On November 29th, popular YouTube personality Valkyrae expressed her disapproval on platform X over some websites posting misleading video clips about specific topics she’d discussed. She admitted to being targeted with harassment due to these posts, which were often titled in a way that distorted their meaning.
Valkyrae expressed uncertainty on how to handle misleading video clips accompanied by sensational headlines, which wrongly characterized a harmless account of her experience at a Japanese hot spring with friends as something suggestive.
I understand that some individuals are merely attempting to earn money using my logo and related items, but the backlash I’ve faced due to falsehoods has been overwhelming. Regrettably, certain clips were shared without consent, and out of context, I am unfortunately portrayed as someone engaged in promiscuous behavior.

To clarify, discussing personal, consensual or otherwise, sexual experiences isn’t illegal, and I shared mine with the intention of helping others realize they aren’t alone. However, I didn’t foresee the backlash that ensued once I posted about it on this platform.
On November 30th, the content creator posted about the current state of affairs, indicating that she’s now consulting with a legal professional. She put it this way: “I’ve felt motivated, so I scheduled a meeting with a lawyer.

Online supporters have shown tremendous backing towards Valkyrae, encouraging her to take legal action against the “Stake” profiles that have disseminated disrespectful and sexually explicit content regarding her.
This month, numerous posts on social media have misrepresented Valkyrae’s statements by taking them out of context and attaching inappropriate captions to belittle her. For instance, during an episode of the Press ESC podcast, she jokingly expressed gratitude for a term that can be interpreted as “penis”.
Originally, the post was playfully humorous, but some users chose to share it accompanied by disrespectful comments. For example, ItsKingSlime wrote: “Valkyrae admits gratitude for Thanksgiving ‘C*CK’ and adores her roster of men she is associated with romantically.
These types of posts have led to criticism, as numerous users are attaching Community Annotations to explain that such captions do not accurately reflect her statements and potentially breach the rules of the platform.
Currently, it’s uncertain whether Valkyrae plans to pursue any legal measures against the makers of these posts, and she hasn’t publicly pointed out the particular accounts associated with them.
