As a devoted fan of both Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Post Malone, I can hardly contain my excitement for this upcoming collaboration! The “Post Malone’s Murder Circus” event promises to be a thrilling, nightmarish adventure that combines the best elements of both worlds.
Following a recent Q&A with Scott Lussier, game director of Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Post Malone, it’s apparent that a partnership was on the horizon, and now it’s officially been announced. A fresh event called “Post Malone’s Murder Circus” is set to debut in Hunt: Showdown 1896. Here are some details about the upcoming event.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 Unveils The “Post Malone’s Murder Circus” Event
As stated on the official blog, the upcoming Hunt: Showdown event titled Murder Circus will be its largest ever set in 1896. Participants will step into a disturbing universe where a carnival has been altered by an enigmatic artifact known as the HelioStone. This stone has ousted the Ringmaster, who is now referred to as the “Deposed King,” and is being depicted by Post Malone during this event.
Since being dethroned, the former King has relentlessly pursued the mysterious HelioStone, swearing to destroy it. Whenever it reappears, he launches an attack, sometimes enlisting bounty hunters as allies in his endeavor. Yet, despite his efforts, the elusive HelioStone consistently manages to evade him, keeping the chase alive.
As a dedicated follower of this thrilling game, I’m eagerly anticipating the day when I’ll step into the boots of a bounty hunter, hired by the Dethroned King for a mission that’s anything but simple: the destruction of the HelioStone. The road ahead won’t be easy, with fresh adversaries such as the Ursa Mortis joining the fray. These grotesque, malformed cub-like creatures have been corrupted by the HelioStone, driving them to a primal, ravenous state.
The specifics about the upcoming event remain undetermined; we don’t know exactly when it’ll take place, whether it’s a fresh game mode or an addition to standard Bounty Hunt battles, or if Post Malone’s character will show up as an NPC, in scenes, or if the anticipated new Trait will be implemented. However, the excitement among The Hunt: Showdown community is palpable as they eagerly await the event.
This development could mark significant progress for both Crytek and their game. Keep an eye out for further updates as they become available.
