With Cyberpunk 2077 reaching an impressive 30 million units sold and its expansion, Phantom Liberty, hitting the 8 million mark, it’s clear that the gaming community has embraced Night City with open arms.
CD Projekt recently unveiled its earnings report for the third quarter of the 2024 fiscal year [PDF]. In this document, the company disclosed that the game Cyberpunk 2077 has exceeded sales of 30 million copies, and the Phantom Liberty expansion has hit 8 million units sold.
CD Projekt Red earlier shared that the base game and its expansion were sold around 25 million and 5 million units, respectively.
Furthermore, it’s been verified that “Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition” will be available for Mac computers in 2025, and currently, the “Witcher” series project Polaris is fully underway with a team of 400 members working on it.
Lastly, CD Projekt has officially given the go-ahead to another animation project set within the universe of Cyberpunk 2077, building upon their previous partnership for the 2022 series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
