Become A Gun-Toting Raccoon--No, Not That One--With Call Of Duty's New DLC

As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the latest addition to Call of Duty’s in-game store leaves me somewhat divided. On one hand, Activision continues to innovate and offer unique character skins, like the Raccoon Goon bundle, which is reminiscent of Marvel’s beloved Guardians of the Galaxy character, Rocket Raccoon.

In the Call of Duty in-game store, Activision keeps adding fresh bundles, and the most recent one allows players to assume a character resembling Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy. This is what some gamers are suggesting about the new “Cash Bandit” bundle that became available today, November 26, for Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

The package includes the “Raccoon Rogue” skin for Niran, as well as the “Debt Chaser” weapon skin for the newly launched Sirin 9mm special gun. Additionally, you’ll find a “Vault Guard” design blueprint for the GPR 91 assault rifle within this bundle.

This raccoon-themed DLC package comes with features such as a reticle called “Cash Flow” and a special move named “Disarmed.” Additionally, you’ll receive a raccoon decal, weapon charm, and a one-hour double XP token. This pack costs 2,800 Call of Duty Points, which is roughly equivalent to $20 USD.

It’s not the first time a Call of Duty store bundle has taken inspiration from a Guardians of the Galaxy character. Previously, Activision introduced the Gaia skin in 2023’s Modern Warfare III, which strongly resembled Groot from the Marvel universe.

If you prefer staying human and playing Call of Duty, rather than transforming into a raccoon, the game’s store has recently added a package that lets you morph into a muscular shark instead.

In late October, Black Ops 6 hit the market and became the top-selling video game for that month in the United States. As we move through 2024, it’s currently ranked as the third highest-selling game of the year.

Regarding updates on Call of Duty: A new development team at Microsoft is being assembled to guide the future direction of this blockbuster series, and rumors are swirling about potential details for the upcoming Call of Duty title in 2027.
