As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for unique and immersive experiences, I can hardly contain my excitement about Voin! Having spent countless hours exploring various lands, battling formidable foes, and unraveling intricate narratives in numerous RPGs, I am always on the lookout for fresh, innovative titles that push the boundaries of the genre.
Solo developer Nikita Sozidar and publisher tinyBuild announced that hack-and-slash RPG Voin will be launching on December 10 via Steam Early Access. Under the Steam Q&A Early Access section, the developer hopes “to release the full version within a year, though the exact timeline might change based on the feedback.” A demo for it is currently available as of the time of writing.
In the game “Voin”, you play as a character in a first-person, action RPG setting. You collect items and fight enemies across different lands, all connected to a central base. The fighting style is a mix of swordplay and magic spells.
Players have the ability to continually progress, assess items they discover, and adjust the challenge level of areas they traverse by modifying mob populations and adversary attributes. Sozidar shares his vision for expanding the game, which involves incorporating additional playable zones, bosses, and enemy types.
A trailer for Voin’s Early Access release date was released and can be viewed down below.
Lightnings,
It’s high time! Over 100,000 of you have been eagerly anticipating, and I am thrilled to announce that our game, VOIN, will officially debut on Steam Early Access on December 10th.
The game currently includes many of the fundamental elements and interactions that I had imagined, yet there are numerous areas I’m eager to delve into further and broaden—not just with additional content, but also by enhancing the overall richness of the gaming experience.
Working on VOIN singlehandedly, I encounter the hurdle of realizing my full creative concept. Being a hack-and-slash game with elements from genres such as roguelike, RPG, and extraction, there’s an abundance of possibilities for fresh loot, weapons, and innovative ways to vanquish adversaries. However, as I progressively incorporate more complexities into the gameplay, it becomes increasingly difficult to strike a balance without player feedback from a dedicated community. Early Access seems ideal in this situation, as it enables me to roll out new material gradually while receiving priceless input from players like you.
I aim to launch the complete version within the next twelve months, but the specific schedule could adjust depending on your input and experiences as gamers.
I intend to extend the game by including new levels, powerful enemies, and innovative strategies for defeating them. To keep things exciting, I’m also working on enhancing the storyline and broadening the universe’s backstory.
Naturally, I’ll strive to ensure the final version is as polished and engaging as possible.
Thank you so much for joining me on this journey.
Until then,
May the cleansing continue.~Nikita.
