As a veteran Valorant gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that the VCT OFF//SEASON 2025 schedule is nothing short of a dream come true! With an expanded list of teams and a more challenging format, it’s clear that Riot Games is stepping up their game.
2024’s VCT Season 2 (Valorant Contenders Tournament) is approaching, and teams are wrapping up their lineups for the 2025 season. The competition begins in January with a simpler schedule and an increased number of participating teams. Additionally, Riot Games plans to add Championship Points, enhancing the qualification process for Champions by making it more engaging.

VCT 2025 Schedule & Format
Kickoff
- Dates
- January 11: VCT CN
- January 15: VCT EMEA
- January 16: VCT Americas
- January 18: VCT Pacific
- Format: 12-team double elimination, with top 4 teams from 2024 getting a bye to Round 2.
- Top 2 teams will advance to Masters Bangkok
Masters Bangkok
- Top 2 teams from each Kickoff League will play in Masters Bangkok.
- Dates: February 20 to March 2
- Format: 8-team swiss stage followed by a 4-team double elimination playoffs.
Stage 1
- Dates
- Group Stage: March 22 to April 25
- Playoffs: May 3 to 16
- Format: 12-team group stage followed by double elimination playoffs.
- Top 3 teams from Stage 1 Playoffs will go to Masters Toronto.
Masters Toronto
- Top 3 teams from Stage 1 Playoffs will advance to Masters Toronto.
- Dates: June 7 to 22
- Format: 8-team swiss stage (with the number one seed from each IL getting a
bye to the next stage), followed by an 8-team double elimination playoffs.
Stage 2
- Dates
- Group Stage: July 12 to August 15
- Playoffs: August 16 to 29
- Format: 12-team group stage followed by double elimination playoffs.
- Top 2 teams will qualify for Champions Paris.
Champions Paris
- Features top 2 teams from Stage 2 and top 2 teams based on Championship Points
- Dates: September 12 to October 5
- Format: Group Stage featuring four 4-team groups, followed by an 8-team
double elimination playoffs.
