As an enthusiast, I’m all fired up to share some exciting news! Microids and Savage Level have just unveiled a fresh sneak peek at Flint: Treasure of Oblivion, set to drop on December 17, 2024, gracing PCs, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The latest video offers tantalizing glimpses into key gameplay aspects like crew management, a wide array of weaponry, and the pulse-pounding intensity of unarmed combat—giving us a privileged peek at the rich strategic layers and role-playing opportunities that lie ahead.

Crew Management and Archetypes

Assembling a top-notch team is vital for achieving victory. Players have the opportunity to enlist historical pirates such as John Silver and Mary Read, alongside other talented explorers. With 12 distinct character types, ranging from Surgeons, Swashbucklers, and Helmsmen, every crew member brings their own special skills to the group.

Strategic Placement of Archetype Characters: Position your characters from the same archetype next to each other during combat for an advantage. This will enable them to unleash potent new abilities and destructive combinations, enhancing your battle tactics significantly.

Weapons and unarmed combat

In the game Flint: Treasure of Oblivion, the battles incorporate both strategy and adaptability. The game provides a vast array of weapons, ranging from sabers to pistols, offering distinct tactical possibilities based on individual playing styles. Additionally, combat without weapons lets players execute brutal moves like tackling or crushing adversaries. These actions can be skillfully integrated with environmental interactions for optimal effect.

Another video showcasing additional gameplay aspects is coming soon. Keep an eye out for further revelations as we approach the release date!
