FIRST LOOKS / TRAILERS
As someone who has spent years immersed in the world of sports and true crime documentaries, I am genuinely excited about these upcoming releases! The NFL season is always a highlight, and having “Hard Knocks” follow an entire division for the first time ever promises to bring a fresh perspective to the drama that unfolds on and off the field. The intrigue and mystery of “The Kings of Tupelo: A Southern Crime Saga” also piques my curiosity – who knew an Elvis impersonator could lead us to such high-stakes secrets in Washington, D.C.?
The trailer for the HBO sports series “Hard Knocks: In Season With the AFC North” has been released. The show will premiere on the streamer on Dec. 3 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
The TV series ‘Hard Knocks: In the Heat of the AFC North’ will chronicle the intense competition for the AFC North title during the NFL’s last six weeks, including a potential playoff push by the division champion and any Wild Card teams from the AFC North. This season focuses on the Pittsburgh Steelers, coached by Mike Tomlin and never before showcased on ‘Hard Knocks’, as well as the Baltimore Ravens under John Harbaugh, the Cincinnati Bengals with Zac Taylor, and the Cleveland Browns led by Kevin Stefanski. The spotlight will also shine on quarterbacks Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, Jameis Winston, and Russell Wilson, along with stars like Derrick Henry, Ja’Marr Chase, Myles Garrett, TJ Watt, and many more from the AFC North.
For the very first time, this series will focus on an entire NFL division throughout its run. Each week’s episode will be broadcast on Tuesdays up until the conclusion of the NFL regular season, with the coverage extending into the playoffs, wrapping up in January 2025.
