Shanghai Major EU B RMR Dates & Format
Just like the other three competitions, the Shanghai Major European B RMR is an offline event held in Shanghai, China (without spectators on-site). The teams are participating from their designated rooms, ensuring that no team has an edge due to lower latency.
The happening takes place from November 21st to 24th, 2024. This is the final Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournament prior to the announcement of all participating teams in the grand finale of the Shanghai Major.
In this tournament, the structure consists of 16 teams. Throughout the competition, elimination and advancement rounds will be a series of three games each (Best-of-Three), while all other matches will be a single game (Best-of-One). From round 3 to round 5, the Buchholz system is employed for pairing up the teams.
At the Perfect World Shanghai Major, the leading seven teams secure a place in the main tournament, whereas the bottom nine teams get disqualified.
