As a dedicated Overwatch fan who’s been following this game since its inception, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and nostalgia all rolled into one with the arrival of Hazard. The trailer, reminiscent of a heist movie, had me hooked from the start. I’ve always had a soft spot for Scottish accents, so hearing Hazard, or “Haz” as they call him, gave me a chuckle.
In an animated trailer, Blizzard has unveiled its latest Overwatch 2 hero called Hazard. Starting from November 22-25, players will have a chance to try out this new character ahead of the commencement of season 14 on December 10.
Titled “Dangerous Maneuvers,” the animated sneak peek unveils a robbery at Oasis, orchestrated by The Phreaks group. Known as Haz by video captions, the protagonist, Hazard, merges with an unusual compound to acquire extraordinary power, evident in spiky protrusions all over his physique. Interestingly, he sports a minigun as his right arm and has a distinctive Scottish accent. Developer Activision Blizzard promises more insights into Hazard’s characteristics and abilities by the end of this week.
As a gamer, I’m pumped to let you know that Overwatch: Classic is still playable in Overwatch 2 until December 2! This classic mode allows me to revisit the original roster of 21 heroes, complete with their classic abilities. If you’re hankering for some retro vibes from your favorite characters, this throwback mode should hit that nostalgic spot just right.
If you’ve been longing for the 6v6 player matches from the early days of Overwatch, don’t worry! The game’s developer plans to run tests during Season 14. The initial test will feature a hero in every role, while a second test, scheduled later in the season, will revert to the traditional 2-2-2 role composition with some adjustments.
