As a longtime fan of Seth Rogen’s comedic genius and his knack for creating relatable characters that perfectly encapsulate the absurdity of Hollywood, I am absolutely thrilled about the upcoming release of “The Studio” on Apple TV+! The all-star cast, including the brilliant Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders, along with guest stars like Bryan Cranston, Martin Scorsese, Charlize Theron, and Ron Howard, promises a rollercoaster ride of laughter, drama, and everything in between.

Apple TV+ unveiled the initial trailer and release date for Seth Rogen’s upcoming humorous series titled “The Studio.

Starting on March 26, 2025, a hilarious comedy series, produced in Hollywood, will debut with its first two episodes. Subsequent episodes will be released each Wednesday, wrapping up on May 21. This show was initially greenlit by Apple back in 2022. You can watch the full trailer right below.

In the show, Rogen takes on the role of Matt Remick, who is now leading Continental Studios, according to the official synopsis.

In their relentless endeavor to keep movies vibrant and contemporary, Matt and his inner circle of disputatious executives grapple with personal anxieties while navigating through the labyrinth of egotistical artists and greedy corporate giants. Their tailored suits conceal a constant undercurrent of tension, as each gathering, studio tour, casting choice, marketing discussion, and award function offers them a chance for resplendent triumph or disastrous career setbacks. As someone who lives, dreams, and breathes cinema, this job is the culmination of Matt’s lifelong ambition – yet it could potentially be his undoing.

Apart from Rogen, the series features an exceptional ensemble consisting of Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, among others. Additionally, the trailer hints at several notable guest appearances, including Bryan Cranston, Martin Scorsese, Charlize Theron, Ron Howard, and many more.

Apple TV+’s series is developed by Lionsgate Television. The show, titled “The Studio,” was conceived by Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, along with Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Frida Perez. Rogen and Goldberg additionally take on directing roles and executive producer positions under their Point Grey Pictures label. James Weaver, Alex McAtee, and Josh Fagen from Point Grey Pictures also assume executive producer roles.
