In 1988, she graced our screens in the captivating film “Anna,” a performance so remarkable it earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. With a career spanning back to the ’60s, Kirkland has been a part of over 300 cinematic endeavors, each one adding another layer to her legendary status in the world of film.
The GoFundMe account mentions that Kirkland suffered a loss of funds, which included earnings from “Anna” and her existing investments, as a result of the 2007-2008 economic downturn.
