Best Makeup and Hairstyling
As a film enthusiast with over two decades of immersion in the silver screen universe, I must say that the Oscars have always been a beacon of artistic excellence and cinematic achievement for me. The prestige and glamour surrounding this event have never failed to captivate my heart and stir my soul.
2024 Weekly Review (Updated on Nov 14): Among the six Oscars that the film “Dune” initially missed, one was for Best Makeup and Hairstyling. Will the team finally secure their due recognition? Or might the gruesome body transformations in “The Substance” or the vampire metamorphoses in “Nosferatu” captivate voters instead? Additionally, the immaculate green makeup on Cynthia Erivo in the musical “Wicked” is also a strong contender.
