At present, the performer is engaged in a nationwide stand-up comedy tour titled “Chelsea Handler Live.” Simultaneously, she has a Las Vegas residency at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino. In this residency, she’s headlining a theater named, fittingly, The Chelsea, which can accommodate 3,200 spectators.
She’s all set to reprise her role as the host of the 2025 Critics Choice Awards airing on E! on January 12, marking her third year in a row for this position. Notably, she has also made appearances in “Prom Dates” on Hulu and the ABC series “Not Dead Yet.
For seven years, she hosted E!’s highest-rated show “Chelsea Lately.” After that, she started a documentary series called “Chelsea Does” and then launched a talk show on Netflix in 2016 named “Chelsea.” The author of six New York Times bestsellers, five of which reached the top spot, she embarked on the “Vaccinated and Horny Tour” in 2021. This was followed by her “Little Big Bitch Tour,” which ran from 2023 to 2024. The success of her 2020 comedy special “Evolution” earned her a Grammy nomination for best comedy album, leading her to return to Netflix with the critically acclaimed 2022 comedy special “Revolution.” Her early acting roles include the action romance film “This Means War,” where she starred alongside Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, and Tom Hardy.
