Mike Tyson shuts down retirement & teases Logan Paul fight after Jake Paul loss

As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for boxing games like Fight Night and Mike Tyson‘s Punch-Out!!, I must admit, I’m intrigued by this developing storyline. The idea of seeing Mike Tyson, an iconic figure in the sport, stepping back into the ring against social media celebrities is as fascinating as it is unexpected.

58-year-old Mike Tyson seems reluctant to retire permanently, suggesting a potential fight with Logan Paul shortly after his loss to Jake Paul.

After a year of discussions, the moment of action finally arrived on November 15, 2025. Social media sensation Paul managed to outbox the 58-year-old boxing great Tyson in an otherwise unremarkable match. Few significant blows were landed throughout the eight rounds, clearly demonstrating why age catches up with everyone (Father Time remains undefeated).

Though I acknowledge the impressive performances and recognize that age is catching up with him, Tyson Fury hasn’t shown any signs of hanging up his gloves just yet in the ring. Following a four-year hiatus after the bout with Roy Jones Jr., it seems like the boxing fever has bitten Iron Mike once more.

Immediately following the conclusion of his bout against Jake Paul, he hinted at potential upcoming events. In the ring, renowned combat sports commentator Ariel Helwani seized the opportunity to ask about his future plans. When queried if this was his final appearance, Tyson replied curtly, “I don’t believe so.

Tyson replied, “It varies based on the circumstances,” indicating that although he doesn’t have a firm stance on any particular concept, he appears eager and receptive to potential hits such as the Netflix event we’ve just experienced.

One idea did come to mind, “Maybe his brother,” Tyson suggested on a whim, much to the surprise of Logan Paul standing just feet away.

Originally, it was Paul’s older brother who was slated to face Tyson as far back as 2021, with a potential match set for February 2022; however, those plans ultimately didn’t materialize. Fast forward to more recent times, and it was Jake who ended up securing the fight first.

In a swift response, free of hesitation, and with a touch of humor, Logan retorted, “I’d go to any lengths to defeat you, Mike, given what I’ve just witnessed your brother accomplish.

It seems that’s the plan, but with formal declarations still pending. If Iron Mike manages to persuade, he might return to the ring once more, possibly facing off against another celebrity from the social media sphere.
